Dennis Bassett

Dennis retired December 31, 2021, as the Director of Customer Operations at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics in Rochester. In this role he was responsible for the directing the activities of sales support teams, including Customer Service, Contracting, and the Sales Associate Program. Prior to joining Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Dennis held a variety of executive level positions at Bausch and Lomb, including Vice President of Field Sales and Vice President of Sales Development and Customer Relations. Dennis also held a variety of senior level sales positions at Eastman Kodak Company and served as the Assistant to a Corporate Vice President. Dennis began his sales career at IBM in 1970.

Dennis earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Knoxville College in 1970 and has completed a variety of Executive Training Programs that included the Penn State Executive Program. He recently completed his term as Board Chair of Geva Theatre Center’s Board of Trustees and is currently the Board Chair of Western Regional Off-Track Betting Corporation. He is also a past board member of the George Eastman Museum Board, the American Heart Association, Rochester Area Community Foundation, Rochester Police Foundation and Monroe Community Foundation Boards. He lives in Rochester with his wife, Mary, is an avid golfer, and enjoys spending time with his four grandchildren.

Ed Morgan is a retired Highway and Water Superintendent for the Town of Murray. Former President of the Orlean County Highway Superintendents Association. He was recognized as the 2019 Public Works Leaders of the Year in his New York Region. He is a former volunteer Firefighter and has sat on several boards. He has been a board member at Western Regional OTB since 2014.

Crystal Rodriguez-Dabney, Esq.

Attorney and longtime public servant, Crystal Rodriguez-Dabney is a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion professional with experience in local government, higher education and healthcare industries. As Chief Diversity Officer and Senior Vice President at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, she leads ongoing efforts to advance diversity, equity, inclusion and access within the cancer center and realm of health equity throughout the communities it serves.

A Buffalo native and proud resident, Crystal joined Roswell Park in June 2023 after serving as First Deputy Mayor and Chief of Staff for the City of Buffalo. Prior to this position, she was Chief Diversity Officer and Chief of Staff at SUNY Buffalo State University from 2018 to 2022 under the leadership of Dr. Katherine Conway-Turner. Less than a year since she joined Roswell Park, Crystal has been recognized for her impact both regionally and nationally. She recently was presented in April 2024 with the Minority Bar Association of Western New York’s Excellence in Promoting Diversity Award, given to a senior executive who has demonstrated exceptional commitment and achievement in fostering DEI within the legal profession. Shortly thereafter, she was appointed to the American Cancer Society (ACS) Chief Diversity Officer Roundtable, a new national panel formed to address the unequal burden of cancer in diverse and multicultural communities.

Rodriguez-Dabney, who holds an Advanced certificate from Cornell University in Diversity and Inclusion and an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from Harvard Kennedy School of Executive Education, helped steer the City of Buffalo’s successful efforts to engage and support richly diverse communities and organizations and played a central role in the community’s response to the May 14, 2022, racially targeted mass shooting on Buffalo’s East Side, while serving as 1st Deputy Mayor. She developed the City’s Opportunity Pledge and spearheaded Mayor Brown’s Opportunity Agenda as the City’s first Chief Diversity Officer, and as one of the first Chief Diversity Officers in the nation serving a large municipality. At Buffalo State, she assisted the college in eliminating barriers by driving intentional, productive guidelines and policies, helping create a resource center to address the needs of historically underrepresented students, working with stakeholders to advance an anti-racist culture, helping to coach faculty, and establishing meaningful connections with diverse alumni.

Rodriguez-Dabney earned a BA in social sciences, with concentrations in History, Political Science and Sociology from California State University San Marcos (2003) and a JD (2006) and LLM (2007) from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. She proudly serves on various boards and councils including: the American Cancer Society’s Diversity Roundtable; The New York State Cannabis Control Board; The Park School; Canisus University; Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy; WNY Women’s Foundation; and, Read to Succeed Buffalo. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc & the Buffalo (NY) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated.

Vincent W. Horrigan

Hailing from Bemus Point, Mr. Horrigan is a former Chautauqua County Executive and Legislator from NY District 17. He spent 27 years in the United States Air Force and was inducted into the state Senate Veteran’s Hall of Fame. He is a graduate of Kent State University.

James A. Wilmot

Monroe County

In his current role as President of Gaming, his responsibilities include identifying new casino development opportunities and assisting in the oversight of current gaming activity. This position also requires coordination between Wilmorite and local, state, and federal regulatory agencies regarding approvals, compliance, and contracts. Jimmy helped guide the del Lago team in its pre-development and eventual selection as 1 of 3 class three casino licenses in NY state. In August 2023, Jimmy oversaw the casino application process, development, construction, and opening of the Golden Nugget Casino in Danville, IL.

Jimmy joined Wilmorite immediately after graduating from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. He began his career in the student housing business division, where he worked with his team to achieve 100% occupancy. His responsibilities quickly expanded into strategic management, planning, operational coordination, and university relations. Day-to-day duties included apartment leasing, accounting, customer relationship software integration, and collections. Jimmy’s hands-on operational experience and insight will positively influence future development and construction projects as Wilmorite expands its work to other regions nationwide.

Jimmy is a past Western New York American Heart Association board member from 2022 to 2024. Member of the Executive leadership Team of the AHA Heart Walk 2020-2024. Jimmy is a past co-chair of the Wilmot Cancer Institute’s annual ball 2024, raising over 1 million in cancer research. Jimmy is a past co-founder of The Wish List Society at the University of Rochester’s Wilmot Cancer Institute. The Wish List Society is a group of young professionals who came together to support the Wilmot Cancer Center’s Patient Needs Program. The Patient Needs ‘wish list’ consists of items and equipment needed at the cancer center facility to lessen the financial burden of treatment. Jimmy continues to support the American Heart Association and Wilmot Cancer Institute by volunteering his time, talents, and money to both organizations.

Paul Bartow

Paul Bartow is a Facility Manager at Lakeside Veterinary Services in Montour Falls, NY. Paul graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with an MFA degree. He left academia as an art professor to help build and establish Lakeside Veterinary Services. He is active with the Schuyler County community and holds seats on the Cornell Cooperative Extension and Schuyler County boards.
